Remote Surveillance Trailer in Palm Springs, CA

Businesses like yours that exist in today's commercial landscape have to navigate a litany of complex security challenges that go beyond their property and premises. We're talking about criminals intent on trespassing, theft, squatting, vandalism, and more. Unfortunately, conventional security efforts are often underwhelming and ineffective in managing modern risks. That's because traditional systems are reactive, not proactive, by nature. That means they're designed to respond to criminal acts after they've happened. Typical responses from these systems include sounding alarms and notifying the authorities - but only after trespassers are on-site. This type of response leads to unnecessary false alarms and frustratingly slow police response times, giving criminals the opportunity to escape with sensitive assets, data, and more.

Mr. Security Camera was founded to address these shortcomings by offering business owners like you proactive, comprehensive security solutions you can count on. With innovative tools like a remote surveillance trailer in Palm Springs, CA, you can get ahead of security breaches, deter potential criminals from committing crimes, and solidify the overall safety of your property without having to rely on outdated security models. By focusing on prevention and lightning-fast response times, we help make peace of mind plentiful for today's most successful property owners and managers.

Recorded Data

Cutting-edge data recording devices installed in mobile surveillance trailers give you the chance to obtain continuous HD recordings on your property. These video recordings provide crucial evidence for incident reviews, security breach evaluations, and investigative support. High-quality recordings ensure comprehensive documentation, which is essential for security audits and post-event analysis.

Now that you understand why so many event coordinators and entrepreneurs use live monitoring security trailers, let's take a closer look at some of their most popular uses.

Don’t be fooled by the unassuming presence of Bar/Food. Adjacent to a strip mall dispensary and liquor store, find a cozy bar and restaurant frequented by locals inside. Vintage touches are everywhere, like the stunning L-shaped mahogany bar and tables. The menu is easy to navigate, with owner Paul O’Halloran’s take on traditional cocktails, including the frozen Sidecar or black Manhattan made with Overholt rye, Amaro Averna liqueur, and orange bitters. Sip either while eating wings, hummus, an iceberg salad, a burger, or steak frites.

During the pandemic, Brad and Crystal Reihl took over the longtime Mexican restaurant JJ’s Mexican Oasis. They kept the red leather banquettes and excellent PA system and installed wood paneling. Since then, the Heyday has become a popular hangout across the street from the Arrive Palm Springs hotel. Though many go for the burgers, it also draws imbibers coming for the classic Tom Collins, lemon drop, Negroni, orange wines, or Calidad on draft while listening to the well-curated playlist.

Chef Engin Onural maintains a heavy presence in the Coachella Valley. In addition to Venue Sushi Bar and Sake Lounge, and Sandfish Sushi, he owns the stunning cocktail bar Tailor Shop. Next door to the Twist PS hotel, the vibes are less casual than most in the region, where elegant creations are presented in a stylish dark room. Order the Sazerac, Old Fashioned, or a Ward 8 cocktail made with Black Market Rye, lemon juice, and orange bitters. Try the Wagyu carpaccio for a small bite to pair with the drinks.

The Bootlegger Tiki is perfect when hanging out with a group. This tiki bar has everything for those searching for a classic Mai Tai or something more contemporary, like the Guava Colada with white and gold rum, guava, Coco Lopez, orgeat syrup, honey, lemon, and passion fruit. Happy hour is a steal, but note that this place fills up fast, so come as early as possible.

Located inside the Kimpton Rowan Palm Springs Hotel, head to the seventh floor to find Palm Springs' only rooftop bar. The pool-adjacent views are spectacular, especially at sunset, when a 4 Saints pre-dinner drink tastes the best, or as a stop at the end of a long day. The venue schedules live acoustic music on weekends .

Next door to the iconic Mr. Lyons is Seymour’s cocktail bar. Like its steakhouse sister spot, it has plenty of style, with vintage decor and an outdoor fireplace lounge area. This is the place for adventurous drinkers who trust the process of a skilled bartender with thoughtful wine selections, classic drinks, and more modern inventions in a glass with unique ingredients like the Bijou with Fords Gin, Green Chartreuse, Carpano Antica vermouth, and orange bitters.

To find the Reef, keep your eyes open for the classic cars parked directly under the A-frame entrance to the Caliente Tropics Resort. Once there, expect to see a busy tiki restaurant and bar that serves Mai Tais, Singapore Slings, and Painkillers in kitchsy containers. While drinking and eating crispy coconut shrimp, notice the expansive (and colonialist) collection of South Pacific decor.

Counter Reformation is a casual bar inside the Parker Palm Springs hotel. It’s unstuffy and beautiful to behold, and the best part is that reservations are not required. The wine collection rotates regularly, offering excellent reds, champagnes, and whites, including the Azahar Vinho Verde from Portugal. The kitchen serves Portuguese-style cod fish cakes, oysters, and a garlicky plate of prawns. Local residents get a discount on Sunday and Monday with an ID that has a Coachella Valley address.

This Midcentury cocktail bar is a regular stop for young locals who find charm and excellent music. Though a full alcohol license hasn’t been secured, beer and natural wines are on deck, along with actual turntables for vinyl selections, a rare sight in any city. For high-fi aficionados, the decorative speakers, book selection, and stacks of records pair well with draught beer and a glass of pét nat.

Go Go Bird’s Brandon Kida and longtime LA barman Rhino Williams partnered to bring approachable American fare and well-made cocktails to the low desert. Anyone can find a hearty dish to eat from day to night with Kida’s menu, while Williams’s cocktails swing between classic and inventive. Try the Singapore Sling made with gin, Benedictine, Grand Marnier, cherry Heering, bitters, and pineapple and lemon juices under the Coolers section.

PALM SPRINGS, CA—Food and dining writers from across the USA Today network rated one California restaurant as one of the best to try in 2025.

To create USA Today’s 2025 Restaurants of the Year, food writers were tasked with choosing establishments that stood out as surprising and delightful, and ones they’d return to and recommend to out-of-town visitors. It's the second year for the list; USA Today debuted the list in 2024.

The publication said the final selections aren’t just an inventory of local hot spots with months-long waits in major metropolitan areas but rather “a celebration of local flavors and stories, curated by reporters from across the country who know that a meal of Italian cuisine in Mamaroneck (New York) can be just as rewarding as one in Manhattan.”

The 45 restaurants on the list are found in 27 states. Only one in California was beloved by food critics: The Rooster and the Pig, of Palm Springs.

Located at 356 S. Indian Canyon Drive, The Rooster and the Pig Our was recommended by a local food writer for its unique setting, for “dining on shaking beef and a stuffed curry ball,” according to the review.

Find out what's happening in Palm Desertfor free with the latest updates from Patch.

The Rooster and the Pig serves “clever spins on traditional Vietnamese cuisine with a modern atmosphere befitting of a Palm Springs eatery. Chef Tai Spendley is inspired by his mother’s Vietnamese dishes and cooking, according to Paul Albani-Burgio of the Palm Springs Desert Sun. The space has a “funky vibe,” with old newspapers, coffee cans, and bright red booths as a backdrop for some spectacular U.S. and Vietnamese fusion cuisine.

PALM SPRINGS, CA— Palm Springs International Airport is partnering with Desert Arc, a local nonprofit organization that creates meaningful job opportunities for adults with disabilities.

Desert Arc will provide key airport services, including ground maintenance, landscaping, and trash removal, reinforcing the airport’s commitment to inclusivity and community stewardship. In a recent news release, an airport spokesperson stated that approximately $320,000 per year, self-funded by the airport, will be spent annually on labor and materials such as flowers, soil, and mulch.

Approved by Palm Springs City Council in September 2024, the partnership brings Desert Arc’s landscape maintenance division on board to handle daily tasks like trash hauling, weed abatement, bush trimming, and sprinkler repairs. A dedicated crew—composed of three individuals with

disabilities and one job coach—will work year-round, 7 days a week, maintaining the airport's inner courtyard and surrounding areas, the release stated.

Harry Barrett, Jr., Executive Director of Aviation at PSP, discussed the new partnership.

Find out what's happening in Palm Desertfor free with the latest updates from Patch.

“This partnership is a win for everyone—helping meet the airport’s operational needs while also supporting sustainable employment for people with disabilities,” Barrett said. “We’re proud to work with Desert Arc to build a more inclusive environment at the airport that benefits the entire community.”

As with all PSP operations, this agreement is fully self-funded by the airport, with nolocal taxpayer dollars used, according to Barrett.

Beyond improving the airport’s daily functions, this partnership supports PSP’s mission to deliver unforgettable hospitality while honoring our values of diversity, responsibility, and integrity—empowering local workers and contributing to a more inclusive community, the release stated.

Palm Springs Mayor Ron deHarte shared his thoughts on the arrangement.

“The City of Palm Springs is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workforce,” deHarte said. “This partnership with Desert Arc is a shining example of how we can create meaningful employment opportunities while ensuring our airport remains a welcoming gateway to our city.”

Richard Balocco, President/CEO of Desert Arc., also commented on the contract and what it means to his employees.

“The City of Palm Springs’ approval of a five-year contract with Desert Arc’s Landscape Maintenance Division to service the prestigious Palm Springs International Airport is markedly a monumentaldecision, and this partnership will have a profound impact on our nonprofit,” Balocco, said. “It is a historic moment and an unprecedented financial opportunity for Desert Arc. Our Board of Directors, staff members, and the 700 people with disabilities served by our mission are grateful and thank former Mayor Jeffrey Bernstein and members of the City of Palm Springs’ City Council for their belief in our mission to enhance the quality of life and create opportunities for people with disabilities. I am proud to be part of an organization who has championed this cause since 1959, and it all began in Palm Springs.”

This partnership also contributes to the City of Palm Springs’ broader vision to invest in both infrastructure and people. Desert Arc’s work will help ensure that PSP remains a clean, inviting space for travelers and residents alike.

Palm Springs Councilmember Jeffrey Bernstein, who has supported the effort from the beginning, spoke on reaching the milestone agreement.

“The City of Palm Springs is absolutely thrilled to be working with the clients of Desert Arc on the landscape maintenance contract for the Palm Springs International Airport,” Bernstein sau. “Through thisprogram, we are able to direct well over $1 million of necessary maintenance project expenses to a local organization that also benefits so many deserving people in need. What’s more, it’s clear the work is being performed better, more efficiently, and more cost-effective than ever before. This istruly a win-win situation.”

COACHELLA, CA — The future of the Chuckwalla National Monument was uncertain Sunday after reports of President Donald Trump planning to rescind the creation of the monument came to light.

President Joe Biden declared the national monument before leaving office in January, protecting 624,270 acres of desert habitat in Riverside and Imperial counties from development.

The New York Times and Washington Post both reported Trump's pending action on the monument Saturday, after the White House posted a fact sheet late Friday citing numerous executive orders rolling back actions of the Biden administration, including one "terminating proclamations declaring a million acres of new national monuments that lock up vast amounts of land that lock up economic development and energy production."

However, that item was later removed, and the White House had not issued further clarification as of midday Sunday.

The Post reported that Trump also planned to rescind the Sáttítla Highlands National Monument in Northern California.

Coachella Valley leaders were advocating for maintaining the protection, and vowing to fight any attempt to rescind it.

"I hope the Trump administration doesn't alter Chuckwalla National Monument. Chuckwalla is extremely popular across the political spectrum and was advocated for by a large, bipartisan coalition. Our local communities know that safeguarding our desert is good for the economy and is smart for the well-being of generations to come," said Assemblyman Greg Wallis, R-Bermuda Dunes.

Palm Desert City Councilman Evan Turbee, who owns Big Wheel Tours, said his business, which takes visitors out to experience off-roading adventures in Chuckwalla, depends on the protected land.

"Hundreds of business owners like myself advocated for Chuckwalla National Monument to be protected and removing those protections would be deeply, deeply unpopular. There is nothing partisan about it -- it's something our community really fought for," he said.

"Chuckwalla National Monument isn't just a stretch of land -- it's a historic military training ground where American troops honed their skills in the unforgiving desert before heading into battle during WWII. It's a place of deep significance where veterans and civilians alike find recreation, reflection, and refuge. Taking a sledgehammer to it would throw open the gates to corporate interests and the highest bidder," said Janessa Goldbeck, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and CEO of Vet Voice Foundation.

Iris Gutierrez, executive director of the High Desert Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, said she is one of more than 300 business leaders who called for the Chuckwalla National Monument to be established.

"We should protect this economic engine, not put it on the chopping block. Any attacks on our public lands will be a setback for local businesses and threaten the local quality of life we all enjoy," Gutierrez said.

Along with the Chuckwalla National Monument, the Sáttítla Highlands National Monument near Mount Shasta in northern California was also included in the plans to be rescinded, according to reports from the New York Tines and the Washington Post. Both the Chuckwalla and Sáttítla monuments were established under the Antiquities Act of 1906, and it was unclear under what legal authority Trump could roll back their designations.

Attempts to reach the White House for comment over the weekend were not immediately successful.

Advocates for the national monument said last year that they were seeking to protect the homelands of the Iviatim, Nüwü, Pipa Aha Macav, Kwatsáan and Maara'yam peoples, also known as the Cahuilla, Chemehuevi, Mohave (CRIT Mohave), Quechan and Serrano nations.

"Since time immemorial, we have called the lands in the proposed Chuckwalla National Monument home," said Secretary Altrena Santillanes of the Torres Martinez Desert Cahuilla Indians. "These lands contain thousands of cultural places and objects of vital importance to the history and identity of the Torres Martinez Desert Cahuilla Indians."Advocates said it would also "protect important heritage values tied to the land, such as multi-use trail systems established by Indigenous peoples and sacred sites," in addition to further recognizing tribal sovereignty and allow new ways for tribes to co-steward their homelands with federal agencies.

They said added protections for public lands would increase equitability in accessing the natural parts of the eastern Coachella Valley and surrounding areas, such as Mecca's Painted Canyon trail and the Bradshaw Trail in southeastern Riverside County.
